Tiesj Benoot (born 11 March 1994 in Ghent, Belgium) is a Belgian classics specialist and all-rounder racing for Team Visma | Lease a Bike. A former Strade Bianche winner, he is known for his consistency in the Spring Classics and his strength on tough, rolling terrain. In addition to chasing results of his own, Benoot plays a key support role in stage races and Grand Tours, where he is valued for his experience, race intelligence and selfless teamwork.
