It was my grandad that got me into cycling, such a passionate cyclist he was that well into his 70’s he was completing 100km rides. Like a lot of British people, I begun following cycling by watching the Tour de France on itv4 every summer but that was were my fandom usually peaked. The combination of having nothing to do and races being in such a short period of time in during COVID times was what caused be to fall properly l for cycling, and I’ve been obsessed since then. Having got into writing a few years ago, I’ve decided to bring these interests together and Domestique felt like the perfect place to do that.
