Like a lot of cycling fans, I started my obsession with the sport by trying to become a pro. But, thanks to having a bike with gears too big for junior racing, I was thrown into the deep end of a British Cycling Cat4 race. It didn’t go well. I turned to writing and it went from there! Now, I’ve worked for the largest cycling brands in the world and have been all over Europe. So, being terrible at racing at the age of 16 has worked in my favour… Maybe?
