1. Jasper Stuyven (Soudal Quick-Step)
A man who has unfinished business with Paris-Roubaix is Jasper Stuyven, with the main reasoning being his career long ambition to win the Hell of the North. The 33-year-old Belgian won Paris-Roubaix Juniors back in 2010 and has gone on to finish in the top 10 of the senior race four times, including a fourth place when he was part of a five man lead group in 2017.
Stuyven’s move to Soudal Quick-Step over the winter changes his situation considerably. Last year at Lidl-Trek, he was in a support role for Mads Pedersen, leading the Dane out to second at Flanders and finishing a respective fifth himself. Now at Soudal Quick-Step, Stuyven will be free to race for his own chances, and with 2022 Paris-Roubaix winner Dylan van Baarle alongside him, the team has real cobbled pedigree.
His start to 2026 was disrupted by illness, but Stuyven has been building form through the Classics block since then. For 400 credits, we believe he should be a key pick within your team, as the Belgian brings Monument winning experience and a hunger that has only grown with age.
2. Alec Segaert (Bahrain Victorious)
Alec Segaert has taken a clear step up in 2026. The 23-year-old Belgian has evolved from a pure time trialist into a cobbled Classics contender. Segaert took a solo victory at the GP Denain in 2026, a race that uses many of the same cobbled sectors as Paris-Roubaix, after heartbreak the day before at Nokere Koerse, where he was caught with 300m to go following a solo attack.
Also in his block of racing in Belgium this spring, Segaert has raced E3, the GP In Flanders Fields, Dwars door Vlaanderen, and the Tour of Flanders. With his time trial engine, Segaert should benefit if he gets into a good position on the key sectors, as he is unlikely to fade on the long stretches of pavé.
Segaert costs just 400 credits and there is every reason to select the Belgian. It is almost all upside for Segaert, who will be a valuable rider in the latter spots in your Cycling Fantasy team.
3. Daan Hoole (Decathlon CMA CGM)
Another rider who has been in form in 2026 is Daan Hoole, who has enjoyed a consistent Classics campaign in Decathlon CMA CGM colours. The 27-year-old Dutchman showed his condition at Paris-Nice, where he completed the final kilometres of the team time trial alone, pushing Decathlon into the provisional lead before being overtaken by Lidl-Trek and Ineos Grenadiers, and nearly taking a stage victory from a late attack, only to be caught in the final kilometre.
He has raced the full WorldTour Belgian Classics programme in 2026 and Hoole fits the profile of a Roubaix breakaway rider well.
For 200 credits, Hoole is a great value pickup for your team as the Dutchman brings real upside, particularly if he gets into a breakaway that goes deep into the finale.
4. Joshua Tarling (Ineos Grenadiers)
Joshua Tarling will be lining up for his fourth attempt at the Hell of the North. The 22-year-old has had a turbulent relationship with this race. He was disqualified for a sticky bottle in 2024 and finished 52nd in 2025.
Tarling was part of the Grenadiers squad that took victory in the team time trial at Paris-Nice and is a 2024 Olympic time trial bronze medallist, so the power is there. Ineos Grenadiers raced Tarling through the full Flemish Classics block, including the Tour of Flanders, which formed part of his preparation for next Sunday, although he did DNF. He will also benefit from having Filippo Ganna alongside him, who skipped Flanders entirely to be fresh for Roubaix, meaning the attention will be on the Italian, allowing Tarling to race under the radar.
Tarling costs 400 credits and with the squad that Ineos are bringing, one would assume the team is ready to make an impact on the cobbles. Can Tarling put his past Roubaix frustrations behind him and take a big result in 2026?
5. Gianni Vermeersch (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe)
Gianni Vermeersch has been one of the most consistent cobbled Classics performers in the peloton in recent years, and 2026 has been no different. The 33-year-old Belgian finished tenth at the Tour of Flanders, took fifth at Strade Bianche earlier this season, and has five Paris-Roubaix starts to his name, including a sixth place in 2024.
Vermeersch spent six years at Alpecin-Deceuninck as a key support rider for Mathieu van der Poel, so he knows exactly how Monument races are won from the inside. He moved to Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe over the winter specifically to bring that Classics experience and race craft to a team that lacked it in 2025. He is also the 2022 Gravel World Champion.
With it clear that Red Bull- Bora-Hansgrohe will look to race aggressively, Vermeersch could benefit from the team’s ambitions and find himself in a position to race for a strong result. For 200 credits, Vermeersch is a great value pickup for your team as the Belgian brings real Roubaix pedigree at a budget price.
