Tudor Pro Cycling 2026 Tour de France: 'Our only goal is stage wins'

The Swiss pro-team made their Tour de France debut last summer and are still on the hunt for their first-ever Grand Tour stage win. Tudor's Tour squad includes a former World Champion and a former European Champion. Here's a look at who will line up for Tudor Pro Cycling at the 2026 Tour de France.

2025 Tour de France:

  • 2025 Tour stage wins: 0
  • 2025 Best GC finish: 42nd - Michael Storer

2026 Objectives:

The Swiss team returns for its second Tour de France with one clear objective: to win stages. Rather than targeting the general classification, Tudor Pro Cycling will adopt an aggressive approach and pursue opportunities across every type of terrain.

Julian Alaphilippe and Marc Hirschi will lead the team on hilly stages and from the breakaways, with both riders particularly suited to explosive and punchy finales.

“Our only goal: stage wins,” said sports director Addy Engels. “Julian Alaphilippe and Marc Hirschi are our breakaway specialists.”

Arvid de Kleijn will target the pure bunch sprints as he makes his Grand Tour debut, while Matteo Trentin and Rick Pluimers provide alternatives on Classic style stages and demanding finales that are too difficult for the pure sprinters.

Michael Storer and Yannis Voisard will chase opportunities from the breakaways in the Pyrenees, Massif Central, Vosges and Alps. The experienced Marco Haller completes the selection and will provide leadership during his eleventh Tour de France.

🇫🇷 Julian Alaphilippe (34): The Swashbuckling Alaphilippe has lit up numerous editions of the Tour and been one of the greatest entertainers at the sport's biggest race. Six stage wins, the mountains classification, a fifth-place finish and multiple stints in the yellow jersey are among Alaphilippe’s accolades at the race. While the former two-time World Champion isn’t at the peak of his powers, his willingness to animate the race still looms large, and he will still be looking to put on a show.

🇦🇺 Michael Storer (29): The Australian arrives after a really solid Giro where he finished seventh overall, his highest Grand Tour finish. It remains to be seen if he will target the GC again, or whether he will look to race with more freedom and target stage victories in the high mountains, which could naturally lead to a strong GC position also.

🇮🇹 Matteo Trentin (36): The experienced Italian veteran serves as the tactical mastermind and on-bike director for the team. A former European Champion with three Tour de France stage victories to his name, Trentin is a shrewd operator. While he will provide an invaluable lead-out anchor on flat days, his true value lies in his ability to read the race, shepherd the younger riders, and exploit reduced bunch sprints on rugged, hilly terrain

🇳🇱 Rick Pluimers (25): The Dutchman is lining up for his second Grand Tour, following the 2025 Giro d’Italia. A versatile rider in the Classics, sprint train and capable in reduced group sprints, Pluimers is the type of rider who could fly under the radar with a top stage finish or two.

🇨🇭 Marc Hirschi (27): The Swiss rider returns to the Tour after winning a stage at the 2020 edition. Hirschi suits the punchy and rolling stages and opened his 2026 with the Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana 1969. He is one of Tudor's most explosive finishers on a reduced-group day and a regular podium threat at the Ardennes.

🇳🇱 Arvid de Kleijn (32): De Kleijn makes his Tour de France debut as Tudor's lead sprinter. The Dutchman won the 2024 Milan-Turin and is a stage winner at Tour de Langkawi, with his power and finishing speed making him a credible candidate for a bunch sprint stage on a day when the headline sprinters get tangled up.

🇦🇹 Marco Haller (35): Haller lines up for his 10th Tour de France, ten years on from his debut in the Austrian national champion's jersey. The Cyclassics Hamburg winner and a former lead-out man for Alexander Kristoff serves as Tudor's senior road captain and lead-out anchor for De Kleijn on the flat stages.

🇨🇭 Yannis Voisard (27): Voisard is the rider whose 2026 spring delivered Tudor's first stage race win of the season, on stage 3 of the AlUla Tour in February. The Swiss climber is also active in the mountain stages of the Tour de Romandie, and is one of the team's stage-hunting climbing options in the Pyrenees and Alps.
