LIVE: 2026 Giro d'Italia Stage 11: Does the breakaway succeed?
Giro d'Italia - Stage 11
Stage 11 of the 2026 Giro d’Italia takes the race north along the Ligurian coast with a demanding 195km stage from Porcari to Chiavari, a day that looks suited to attackers rather than the pure sprinters. After a flatter opening across Tuscany and along the Via Aurelia, the route becomes far more selective in the second half as the peloton crosses the Cinque Terre. The key climbs are Passo del Termine and Colle di Guaitarola before two shorter, sharper ascents at Colla dei Scioli and Cogorno inside the final 30km. The last kilometres into Chiavari are technical and uneven, with a short climb followed by a fast descent before the flat run to the line.
