2026 Santos Women's Tour Down Under start list: EF Education-Oatly boast defending and world champions
The 2026 edition Santos Women's Tour Down Under begins in Willunga Hill on January 17 and finishes in Athelstone on January 19, where the ochre jersey will be awarded to the overall winner. Defending champion Noemi Rüegg (EF Education-Oatly) returns to defend her title, and will be joined by teammate and World Champion Magdeleine Vallieres (EF Education-Oatly). Stage 1 will see 15 teams on the start line in Willunga, each fielding six riders, for a total peloton of 90. All 15 UCI Women's WorldTour teams will be present and joined by the Australian Cycling Team.
Defending champion Noemi Rüegg (EF Education-Oatly) returns to defend the ochre jersey and will be joined by teammate and world champion Magdeleine Vallieres. In the process, the Canadian will become the first reigning world champion to ride the Santos Women's Tour Down Under.
Other standout names on the start list include Ally Wollaston (FDJ United-Suez), Mavi García (UAE Team ADQ), three-time former champion Amanda Spratt (Lidl-Trek), and Chloé Dygert (Canyon//SRAM zondacrypto).
