Roglic emerges as rumoured Pinarello-Q36.5 target for 2027
The four-time Vuelta a España winner is looking for a new team after Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe confirmed his departure at the end of 2026.

Primož Roglič (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) has been linked with a move to Pinarello-Q36.5 ahead of the 2027 season, with Daniel Benson reporting that the ambitious Swiss outfit are among the teams who could become a potential destination for the Slovenian.
Benson stressed that the move remains at the rumour stage and is not yet at the point of a reported agreement.
The speculation follows confirmation that Roglič is set to leave Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe at the end of the 2026 season.
Team manager Ralph Denk confirmed earlier this season that the four-time Vuelta a España winner intends to continue racing in 2027, while Bahrain Victorious has already ruled itself out to Domestique as a potential destination after previously being linked with the 36-year-old.
This season, Roglič has lined up at races including Tirreno-Adriatico, Milan-Sanremo and the Tour de Suisse. More recently, he became Slovenian time trial champion for the first time since 2016.
The Slovenian is now preparing for a return to the Vuelta a España in August, where he shares the record for most overall victories with Roberto Heras, having won the race four times, with the most recent coming in 2024.
The rumour also aligns with Pinarello-Q36.5's increasingly ambitious recruitment strategy. Backed by billionaire Ivan Glasenberg, the team has invested heavily since signing Tom Pidcock for 2025 and has been repeatedly linked with several high-profile additions for 2027.
Benson has previously reported that AJ August, Sebastian Berwick and Jan Castellon are all set to join the Swiss team for 2027, while Het Nieuwsblad has reported that Tom Crabbe will also make the switch. In addition, recent Tour de France stage winner Mauro Schmid is also set to link up with Pidcock and co for next season.
Meanwhile, Pinarello-Q36.5 also joined the growing list of teams linked to Paul Seixas, with reports indicating the ProTeam are prepared to offer one of the richest contracts in professional cycling to the teenage French talent.
With Roglič still without a confirmed team for 2027, his future is expected to remain one of the biggest stories over the coming weeks and months.
