Route
The 2026 ADAC Cyclassics covers 205.3 kilometres and includes 1,802 metres of climbing, making the race more demanding than a typical sprinters’ classic. Much of the difficulty comes from the Waseberg, a short but steep climb that reaches 14 percent and is tackled five times. The final ascent comes with 16 kilometres remaining, giving attackers a final opportunity to break clear before the race rolls back into central Hamburg for a technical finish through the city streets in the finale.

Favourites
Jonathan Milan starts as the leading favourite after showing dominant sprinting form at the Tour de Pologne, but the repeated Waseberg climbs could test his resilience.
Paul Magnier and Arnaud De Lie offer stronger options if the race becomes more selective, while Filippo Fiorelli could profit from an aggressive finale. Lukáš Kubiš is another rider well suited to the repeated efforts and short climbs, making him a serious contender if the race is decided from a reduced group in Hamburg.
