Laurence Pithie won stage three of the Tour of Slovenia in a reduced bunch sprint. The New Zealander beat Ivan Cobo and Stefano Oldani to retain the overall lead. It was his second stage victory of the race, although defending the leader’s jersey in Saturday’s queen stage will be a major challenge.
