The Vuelta a España will celebrate its 81th edition in 2026. First organised in 1935, it has grown into one of cycling’s three Grand Tours and a key fixture on the late summer calendar. The 2026 race runs from 22 August to 13 September, starting in Monaco and finishing in Granada. Riders will cover around 3,275 kilometres over 21 stages across Monaco, France, Andorra and Spain. The race is broadcast in more than 190 countries, reaching a global audience of millions. At stake is the maillot rojo, one of the most prestigious jerseys in professional cycling.
