2026 O Gran Camiño start list - Another battle between UAE and Visma?
The 2026 edition of O Gran Camiño gets underway on April 14 and concludes after five stages on April 18, with a very hard parcours, making it one to look forward to.
In total, there are 16 teams on the provisional start list, each fielding 7 riders, resulting in a total peloton of 112 riders.
With the Movistar team, Team Visma | Lease a Bike, UAE Team Emirates-XRG, and NSN Cycling Team, 4 of the 18 UCI WorldTour teams feature, alongside four UCI ProTeams and eight UCI Continental teams. The four ProTeams are Burgos Burpellet BH, Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, Equipo Kern Pharma, and Euskaltel-Euskadi.
With UAE Team Emirates-XRG and Team Visma | Lease a Bike in the race, attention once again turns to whether a duel between the two teams can develop. UAE will line up Adam Yates as their leader, taking on Visma’s young Norwegian talent Jørgen Nordhagen, who impressed earlier this year with an eighth place at the UAE Tour in February. Alongside Yates and Nordhagen, Iván Romeo of Movistar Team is also one to watch on this course.
