Wout van Aert claimed his third consecutive Tour of Denmark stage victory with a powerful uphill sprint in Vejle, completing the first hat-trick of his professional career. After Visma | Lease a Bike controlled the demanding queen stage, Van Aert attacked several times before opening his sprint with 800 metres remaining and dropping Lukas Kubis.
