2026 Tour of the Alps start list - Pidcock makes surprise appearance while others fine-tune Giro prep
The 2026 edition of the Tour of the Alps kicks off in Innsbruck on April 20 and concludes after five stages in Bozen/Bolzano on April 24.

There are set to be 17 teams, each fielding 7 riders, resulting in a total start list of 119 riders.
Seven WorldTour teams feature, including Ineos Grenadiers, Lidl-Trek, Bahrain-Victorious, EF Education-EasyPost, Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe, Jayco AlUla, and Picnic PostNL.
The six ProTeams include Tudor, Bardiani CSF 7 Saber, MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort, Solution Tech NIPPO Rail, PoltiVisitMalta, and Pinarello-Q36.5.
Team Ukyo and Team Vorarlberg are the two continental teams, and there are an Austrian and an Italian national team featuring.
Tom Pidcock (Pinarello-Q36.5) makes a return to racing after abandoning the Volta a Catalunya following a crash he suffered on stage 5, while sitting second in the GC.
Giulio Pellizzari (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) lines up for his first stage race since finishing 3rd at Tirreno-Adriatico.
Pidcock's former employers, Ineos Grenadiers, field a strong team with Thymen Arensman and Egan Bernal, while defending champion Michael Storer (Tudor) returns to defend his title.
Arensman finished 2nd last year, while Derek Gee-West (Lidl-Trek), who finished 3rd, is also set to return.
