Tour of Oman 2026 start list: Adam Yates and Sepp Kuss lead the bill
The Tour of Oman returns from Saturday 7 February to Wednesday 11 February, with the race once again set to be decided on the Green Mountain summit finish. 18 teams will take to the start line, each fielding seven riders, resulting in a peloton of 126 riders.
11 UCI WorldTour teams are on the start list, led by UAE Team Emirates-XRG, Team Visma | Lease a Bike, Soudal Quick-Step, Movistar, EF Education-EasyPost, Jayco AlUla, Uno-X Mobility, Alpecin Premier-Tech, Groupama-FDJ United, Lotto-Intermarché and XDS-Astana. The line-up is completed by a cast of ProTeams and continental teams, including Tudor Pro Cycling Team, TotalEnergies, Cofidis, Burgos Burpellet BH, Pinarello-Q36.5, Caja Rural Seguros RGA and the Oman national team.
Next to Adam Yates, the most prominent GC riders to watch out for are Sepp Kuss (Visma | Lease a Bike), Valentin Paret-Peintre, Mauri Vansevenant (both Soudal Quick-Step) and Einer Rubio (Movistar).
