Remco Evenepoel sprinted to victory on the Tumble in stage 5 of the Tour of Britain, his first win since abandoning the Tour de France and his sixth of the season. The Olympic champion proved strongest on the uphill finish, outsprinting Thomas Gloag and Oscar Onley from a select group. Race leader Romain Grégoire limited his losses to bonus seconds and retains the green jersey by two seconds heading into the final stage.
