Oscar Onley claimed stage 2 of the Vuelta a Burgos after outsprinting Giulio Ciccone on the summit finish in Pineda de la Sierra. The victory marked his first individual win for Netcompany-Ineos and a strong return after the crash that ruled him out of the Tour de France. Onley also moved into the overall race lead ahead of Thursday’s queen stage.
