Demi Vollering won stage 5 of the 2026 Giro d’Italia Women after sprinting to victory from an elite four rider group. The decisive selection formed on the final climb, where Vollering, Anna van der Breggen, Antonia Niedermaier and Isabella Holmgren went clear. Van der Breggen finished second on the stage and retained the pink jersey.
