Célia Géry won stage 7 of the Giro d’Italia from a late breakaway move, outkicking Lucinda Brand in a tense finale. The peloton came within 10 seconds under the flamme rouge after Uno-X Mobility and Human Powered Health chased hard, but the escapees held on. It was the 20 year old French rider’s first Grand Tour stage victory.
