Tadej Pogačar won stage 5 of the Tour de Suisse at Villars-sur-Ollon with an attack 8km from the line, sealing overall victory in his Tour de Suisse debut. The Slovenian caught the day's lone survivor Lenny Martinez (Bahrain Victorious) inside the flamme rouge before accelerating past with 700m to go. It was Pogačar's third stage win of the race, with Carapaz second overall at 6:32.
