2026 Brussels Cycling Classic start list: Can Biniam Girmay make a return to winning ways?
The 2026 edition of the Brussels Cycling Classic is on June 7, with a 206.3-kilometre route from the outskirts of Brussels before a finish later on in the north of the city.

There are 21 teams scheduled to line up, each with seven riders, making for a peloton of 147 riders. The start list features 13 UCI WorldTour teams alongside eight ProTeams: Tudor Pro Cycling, Unibet Rose Rockets, Team Polti Visit Malta, Team Flanders-Baloise, Pinarello Q36.5, MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort, Cofidis and Caja Rural.
Defending champion Tim Merlier has chosen not to return to the race, but a former winner will be on the start line, with Jonas Abrahamsen of Uno-X Mobility set to compete.
Biniam Girmay makes his return to racing for NSN after almost two months away from competition, having last raced at Paris-Roubaix, where he did not finish. The Eritrean finished second in the 2024 edition and will be looking to rediscover his winning form in Brussels.
Jordi Meeus of Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe also arrives in strong form after taking several victories over the past month.
Other notable names on the start list include Alberto Dainese of Soudal Quick-Step, Søren Wærenskjold of Uno-X Mobility, Tom Crabbe of Flanders-Baloise and Sam Bennett of Pinarello Q36.5.
