Jasper Philipsen won stage 17 of the 2026 Tour de France by sprinting to victory from a large breakaway, after Jasper Stuyven was caught just under four kilometres from the finish. With Mathieu van der Poel leading him out, Philipsen beat Mauro Schmid and Olav Kooij to claim his first stage win of the race and move within seven points of the green jersey. Tadej Pogačar finished safely in the peloton and retained his 4:32 overall lead over Remco Evenepoel.
