Mads Pedersen won Tour de France stage 4 in Foix from a 34 rider breakaway, leading a Lidl-Trek one two ahead of Quinn Simmons. Lidl-Trek controlled the decisive finale with Pedersen, Simmons and Mathias Vacek covering repeated Movistar attacks before setting up Pedersen’s sprint victory. Torstein Træen finished in the front group and moved into the yellow jersey as Tadej Pogačar and the peloton arrived more than 10 minutes behind.
