Jonas Vingegaard continued his perfect record on summit finishes at the 2026 Giro d’Italia with a dominant solo victory on stage 16 in Carì. After Visma | Lease a Bike had reduced the GC group on the final climb, Vingegaard attacked with 6.6km to go and quickly built a commanding lead. The win strengthened his grip on the maglia rosa and moved him another step closer to completing the Grand Tour treble.
