Giro d'Italia 2026 - Stage 9

Jonas Vingegaard won stage 9 of the Giro d’Italia on the summit finish at Corno alle Scale after a fierce battle with Felix Gall. Gall attacked with 2.4 km to go, but Vingegaard was the only rider able to follow before countering inside the final kilometre and soloing to victory. Afonso Eulálio finished fifth and successfully defended the maglia rosa heading into the second rest day.
